Festive Greetings!

The presents are a wrapped, the fridge is full to bursting, the TV schedule is planned, and the booze cabinet well and truly stocked. All that's left for me to do on this rather dreary Christmas Eve in London, is to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. I hope you all have the most fantastic time with your loved ones.

This year is very poignant to me, as although I have avoided discussing this on the blog, my dearest daddy passed away earlier this year, and this will be our first Christmas without him. This time last year he was very ill indeed, and Christmas wasn't really Christmas, so this year we will remember him fondly and all the lovely Christmasses passed that we spent together.

I am lucky to have another very special man in my life and am looking forward to spending a fun filled holiday with him.

Our Kitschmas offering....

And here is a little sneak peek into our home and some of the decorations...

A friend gave me two boxes of this repro vintage ornaments...I love them!

I made this table centrepiece from trimmings from old decorations and flower arrangements

Of course, one of my kittys had to get in the spirit!

Our vintage chalkboard

This was me this morning being a baking geek....I made the most delicious Garland pie (basically a giant sausage roll!)

Some more silliness and a better shot of my vintage pom pom Christmas dress

Merry Christmas one and all!

  5. From the bottom of my heart, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I can only imagine the heartache that this year must have been filled with for you, and truly admire your strength and ability to keep blogging under such circumstances.

With all my might, I hope that 2013 is an infinitely better, happier year for you and your family.
