Wowsers! The fine folk over at Puttin' on the Ritz have really outdone themselves this time! Ladies, I am proud as punch to present to you the Sun Lounger, a cute as a button 1940s playsuit from Puttin on the Ritz.
As always, tailor made lovingly from a vintage pattern
Ok, so there wasn't much sun, but I did do a small amount of lounging for this shoot. I am modelling the cherry on vanilla cotton version, but it's also available in plain coloured cotton...and maybe even some polka dots!
I adore the ruffled shoulders on the cropped blouse. The square neck is so flattering too
I teamed mine with bamboo bangles, and felt right at home in this beautiful bamboo garden
At £65, this tailor made playsuit is a steal. I'm sure there are a few more hot days left of this British Summer, and I will definitely be stepping out in my Sun Lounger

ReplyDeleteI am just tentatively edging into the world of playsuits, being related as they are to shorts, which fill me with terror due to my stumpy ole legs. I must be brave, I am sure it's nothing a pair of sky-high wedges can't cure (and a few margeritas for bravery ha ha).
