Last month we had a beautiful picnic in the balmy April heat wave. As I sit in my bed post tooth extraction waiting for the pain to finally subside, I can't help but day dream about wearing a pretty frock, and being out in the beautiful sunshine again. I adore picnics (who doesn't?!) I think being a born and bred Town girl, I love any opportunity to eat outside, and put my bare feet in the grass. So, searching through Etsy, I picked a few things to create a stylish vintage picnic.
Blend in with the borders in these floral beauties:
Carry your tasty treats in a yummy hamper:
Don't forget your sun protection:
Anyone for tennis?
For when you grow tired of the bird song:
That is one hamp-tastic hamper! I had to close my eyes and scroll past the dresses. I need no more temptation in the frockery area. But they were pretty - oops - eye closing FAIL.
ReplyDeleteThis was most cheering on a blustery cold day. I am also avoiding frock shopping, I already have more clothes than I can possibly fit anywhere!!! :/
ReplyDeleteI love a good pick-nick, lots of opportunities for vintage style food like cucumber sarnies, eggs-and-celery-salt & of course lashings of whatever drinks are going handy. ;)
I love picnics with hubby and my little dog. Those dresses are beautiful.Ijust love that little cath K radio. You ladies look so pretty in your photo.Looked like a nice relaxing day.
ReplyDeleteWhat would we do without Etsy?! Thanks for all the wonderful links. I'm ready to picnic right now.
